Wedgefield K-8 is a new school located within the rural Wedgefield community of East Orange County. The school is approximately 137,000 SF spread over four buildings with a central courtyard. The school design incorporates 21st Century teaching elements and is being designed and built to Green Globes sustainability standards. The project includes an extensive on-site earthwork and utility scope due to the large acreage of the property. The project also includes an extensive off-site scope associated with extending utilities to the school site and constructing multiple turn lanes on the roads outside of the school property.
