Major elements of the project include demolition of existing buildings 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,10,11,12,13, covered walkways, other miscellaneous storage and mechanical buildings. Construction of a new single story prototype school building consisting of approximately 52,200 SF of new construction with the following spaces: classrooms, skills/resource laboratories, administration, kitchen, dining/multi-purpose room, media center, and support spaces. Project also consisted of 31,700 SF of renovation to existing buildings 8 & 9 consisting of approximately 13,784 square feet each for a total of 27,568 gross square feet. The project schedule was very aggressive but was completed successfully with hard work by the Pirtle staff and all members of the project team.
