The existing Mollie Ray Elementary was completed, demolished and a new prototype elementary school was built in its place. This school is comprised of tilt-up concrete panels, structural steel and standard interior/exterior finishes. The project also exhibited extraordinary offsite utility and road improvements on three sides of the school campus. Pirtle worked closely with the school district, sitework subcontractor and the civil engineer to overcome the offsite challenges. The project schedule was very aggressive but was completed successfully with hard work by the Pirtle staff and all members of the project team.
