The scope of work includes the expansion of the existing school to accommodate 1,200 student stations for Kindergarten through Eighth grade. The existing school is an operating Charter School with 660 student stations. The new school will provide an additional 540 K-8 State-of-the-Art student stations as well as the associated core support areas such as Administration, Dining, Gymnasium and select Arts areas. The basis of this design will be a re-use of Zyscovich Architects’ “Pershing” K-8 School Prototype recently completed in Orange County. The work anticipated in the existing school will be limited to Building #1 the Administration/Food Service Building.
