SUNRIDGE ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOLS

The project consisted of construction of a new 170,000 SF three-story middle school and 89,289 SF two-story elementary school on an undeveloped 40-acre site. Orange County Public Schools chose to combine the two schools – Elementary and Middle – on one campus in order to share the cafeteria, kitchen, chiller plant, bus loop and other amenities. The shared facilities approach resulted in savings relating to construction cost and school operating costs.
