Yesterday members of Broward County Public Schools held a press conference at Pirtle Construction’s current construction site for the new classroom building on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School campus. Broward Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie and School Board member Lori Alhadeff talked about the significance of this building for the school and the community, some of the building’s security features that will also be implemented on future school projects, as well as the project’s timely progress. Pirtle Construction is honored to have been given the opportunity to build the replacement classroom building for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and help the students, staff, and the community to heal. And we are very proud of our construction team for doing an excellent job of keeping the project on time and on budget while maintaining strict safety measure to keep the students, faculty and visitors safe while building of a fully active school campus.
From our family to yours, we want to wish everyone a joyous New Year and we’re looking forward to continued success in 2020! #PirtleConstruction #Newyears #Newyears2020 #Happynewyears #Family #Holidays #construction ... See MoreSee Less

On Friday the Stiles | Pirtle Joint Venture Team has reached an important milestone on the New Port Everglades Terminals 2 and 4 Parking Garage - we celebrated a successful topping out! Thank You to everyone who helped us reach this achievement! To show our appreciation for all the hard work and dedication on the project, we catered lunch for the project team and site subcontractors. We also raffled over 100 prizes to the site subcontractors - many lucky winners went home with large flat screen TV’s, new tool sets, gift cards, fishing gear and lots of other goodies just in time for the Holidays! A job title does not make a leader INSPIRATIONAL. Rather, it's the ability to drive people to reach great heights of performance and success and to demonstrate the qualities people will follow by choice—passion, purpose, integrity and inclusion. Richard Rodriguez, our Director of Operations, is one of Pirtle’s Inspirational Leaders. Recently Richard was asked to speak to the students at the Perry School of Construction at the Santa Fe College to share his success story of how he progressed from working in the field to becoming an Executive and a Leader of one of the premier builders in Florida. Richard drew quite a crowd and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. The students showed great enthusiasm and ambition for the construction field and were inspired by Richard’s humble beginnings and the success of his hard work and determination. As a “Thank You”, Richard was presented a book by Tony Dungy “The Soul of a Team” signed by the students. Thank You, Richard, for being an inspiration for all of us and the Soul of OUR Team! #InspirationalLeader #OurTeam ... See MoreSee Less
