Darrell Lipman, Secretary and Treasurer
As Secretary and Treasurer of Pirtle Construction, Darrell Lipman oversees the accounting and finance and provides strong financial leadership to a team of nine professionals. Darrell has over 28 years of progressive accounting experience on over 1,000 construction projects. During this time, he has had a direct role in all financial aspects of extensive development and construction projects and the implementation of integrated software systems. He possesses the unique ability to analyze systems and processes to determine the most cost effective and efficient method of production.
Darrell began his career at Forest City Enterprises in 1981 and grew from a Senior Accountant to Group Controller. He then moved to C.T. Taylor Company where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for 14 years. Previous to Pirtle Construction, Darrell was Division Controller for Toll Brothers, America�s largest luxury home builder.
Darrell is the past President of the Cleveland chapter of the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA) and is currently the Vice President of the South Florida chapter of CFMA and will take on the role of President in March 2009.
Darrell received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
