The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The construction project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management like – Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.

We are currently looking for two summer interns to join our construction team for Summer 2016.  Internship positions are open to anyone pursuing a degree in Construction Management. Pirtle interns will work directly under a Project Manager in a “hands on” construction environment and will be responsible for carrying out day-today administrative and field work as directed. Typical duties include but are not limited to: day-to-day communication with subcontractors, inspectors, and owners; assist in management of coordination meetings and maintain meeting agenda and minutes; perform data entry; review and processing of submittals and RFI’s; document control of drawings and specifications for issued revisions; overseeing the project for the Project Manager.
